Sculptra San Diego
Sculptra is a dermal filler that works to replace collagen lost over time. Collagen loss is one of the biggest culprits that leads to signs of aging. Also, it is an FDA-approved injectable that provides results which can last over two years. Therefore, sculptra reduces the appearance of smile lines, chin wrinkles, and marionette lines near the jawbone by stimulating the production of collagen and increasing collagen growth. This influx of collagen works to give your face a youthful fullness and volume, resulting in a younger and more beautiful looking you.
Difference Between Juvederm/ Restylane and Sculptra
Juvederm/ Restylane are treatments for patients who need only a small amount of filling, and target specific wrinkles and lines. Sculptra is for large and broader skin treatments. As well as for promoting the growth of collagen under the skin for longer lasting results. Sculptra adds volume to the face, filling in grooves and hollow points in the face to provide a more youthful appearance. Juvederm and Restylane are gels that are injected into the skin to temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Gita, our medical professional, can determine if Sculptra or Juvederm/Restylane is your best option. Which will be based on a variety of factors, including needed volume replacement, age, and desired amount of maintenance.

How Long Does Sculptra Last?
Sculptra sets itself apart from the competition in how long it lasts. While some fillers may last only a few months, this filler can last around 2 years, once a full series of treatments is completed. While results can last 2 years, it is suggested to get a maintenance treatment every year.
